Codex Runtime (Planned)
Planned direction for Codex runtime support in OpenSana.
Codex support is part of the OpenSana direction, but it should currently be treated as planned rather than fully implemented thread execution behavior.
What Exists Today
- CLI and init surfaces already acknowledge Codex in some places
- editor and config-generation workflows can prepare Codex-related config
What Is Still Needed
- end-to-end thread execution support
- runtime-specific parsing and normalization
- clear payload contracts for streamed output
- parity rules with existing thread UI expectations
Documentation Rule
Keep public docs explicit that Codex is planned until the runtime is fully implemented and tested in live thread processing.
