OpenSana is organized around organizations, projects, tasks, and threads.
Typical First Run
- Join or create an organization.
- Open a project.
- Create your first task.
- Open the task details sidebar to add description, comments, files, or artifacts.
- Start a thread if you want AI help tied to that project or task.
Core Navigation
- Organizations group projects.
- Projects contain tasks and AI threads.
- Tasks can be viewed in list and board-style workflows.
- Threads let you collaborate with connected CLI agents.
What To Set Up Early
- Confirm project members and roles.
- Decide which statuses and task types your project will use.
- Generate an API key if you plan to use the CLI or MCP integrations.
- Connect at least one CLI profile if you want live AI thread execution.
