Tasks
Create, organize, update, and search tasks in OpenSana.
Tasks are the core work item in OpenSana.
Task Basics
Each task belongs to a project and gets a ref like WEB-42.
Tasks can include:
- title
- description
- status
- priority
- assignee
- due date
- type
- tags
- comments
- attachments
- artifacts
Statuses and Workflow
OpenSana supports a real task workflow instead of a single checkbox model.
Projects can use statuses such as:
BacklogTo DoIn ProgressIn ReviewDoneCanceled
Some statuses can be disabled per project while preserving compatibility with older tasks.
Task Views
Use the list view when you want dense editing, search, ranking, and hierarchy.
Use the board view when you want a Kanban-style flow by status.
Common Actions
- create a task from the project UI
- reorder tasks through ranked lists
- archive completed work
- search active or archived tasks
- open a task detail sidebar for richer editing
