Comments
Use comments for ongoing discussion.
Comments are best for:
- questions
- updates
- reviews
- short decisions
Attachments
Use attachments for files and images.
Examples:
- screenshots
- design exports
- logs
- documents
Image attachments can be previewed directly in the UI.
Artifacts
Artifacts are markdown documents attached to a task.
Use them for:
- plans
- implementation notes
- reviews
- handoff documents
Artifacts are better than comments when the content should stay structured and easy to revisit.
Recommendation
- Use comments for conversation.
- Use attachments for raw files.
- Use artifacts for durable markdown deliverables.
